Full-time Research Assistant staff position

我們正在尋找一位研究助理，加入中央大學大氣科學系的「氣候變遷與氣候干預研究團隊」。

We are seeking a research assistant to support our Climate Change and Climate Intervention group in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, National Central University.

職務說明：

研究助理將參與分析不同氣候情境下的氣候模式模擬，以了解氣候變遷對極端事件的影響，以及氣候干預的可能效果。

Description: The research assistant will be working on analyzing climate model simulations with different climate scenarios to understand the impact of climate change on extreme events, as well as the effects of climate intervention.

資格條件與福利：

• 應徵者需具備良好的英文溝通能力與高度責任感。

• 理想的候選人應具備以下一個或多個領域的背景知識：大氣科學、氣候學、統計學、大數據分析或其他相關物理科學。

• 熟悉至少一種程式語言者尤佳。

• 錄取者將依照中央大學相關規定，獲得具競爭力的薪資與福利。

Qualifications and benefits:

• The successful applicant will be expected to have strong communication skills in English and a high level of responsibility.

• The ideal candidate should have a background in one or more of the following areas: atmospheric science, climatology, statistics, big data analytics, or related physical sciences.

• Proficiency with at least one programming language is highly desirable.

• The staff will receive a competitive salary and benefits package in accordance with National Central University’s regulations.
