2026 NCU–Sakura Program at ERI, The University of Tokyo

During the summer of 2026, the Earthquake Research Institute (ERI) of the University of Tokyo will accept up to five students from National Central University (NCU) to participate in the eight-week NCU–Sakura Internship Program. This program is led by Professor Kenji Satake, Yushan Scholar of the Department of Earth Sciences at NCU. Under the supervision of host researchers at ERI, University of Tokyo, participants will receive scientific and engineering training in seismology, volcanology, earth dynamics, and geology/geophysics. The program also aims to enhance students’ experience in international academic exchange and collaboration.
